Terms of Service
Effective October 21, 2026 · Version 2026-10-21
These terms are the agreement between you and [OWNER] ("Navtaps," "we," "us") for using Navtaps,
the website and service that lets churches and other organizations change where their NFC tags and QR codes go.
By creating an account or using Navtaps, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and allowed to act for the church or organization you set up.
- Give us accurate information and keep your email address current, because that's how we reach you.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else has gotten into your account.
2. Acceptable use
Navtaps is for pointing people to your own ministry's pages, forms, giving, events and documents. You agree not to use it to link to, upload or share anything that:
- is illegal, or helps someone break the law;
- tricks people, including phishing, scams, fake login or payment pages, or pretending to be another person or organization;
- contains malware, viruses or harmful downloads;
- is sexually explicit, or harms or exploits children in any way;
- threatens, harasses or promotes violence against anyone;
- copies someone else's work without permission;
- sends spam or bulk messages people didn't ask for.
You also agree not to break, overload, or get around the security or limits of Navtaps, or use it to hide where a link really goes.
3. Link checks and suspension
- We check the links you save, and the links people tap, with Google's Web Risk service. If Google flags a link as unsafe, we block it and show a warning instead.
- We may remove content, block a link, or suspend an account at any time if we believe it breaks these terms, puts people at risk, or could get Navtaps's web address flagged as unsafe. While an account is suspended, its tags show a "turned off" page.
- When we can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it. In urgent cases we may act first.
- To report a link or account that's being misused, email [SUPPORT EMAIL].
4. Your content
You own the links, names, files and other content you put into Navtaps. You give us permission to store, copy and show that content only as needed to run the service, such as sending people to your links and serving your uploaded files.
You're responsible for your content and promise you have the right to use it. Uploaded files are public to anyone who has the link, so don't upload anything private. Uploads are limited to PDF, JPG and PNG files up to 10 MB each.
5. Plans and billing
- The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, through our payment processor.
- Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime, and you keep the plan until the end of the period you already paid for.
- We don't give refunds for partial months or years, except where the law requires it.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change affects you.
- If your plan ends or you move to a smaller plan, your tags keep working, but schedules may pause and tap cards over the new plan's limit become locked. You can choose which cards stay editable one time after each plan change; after that, contact us to change your choice.
- Free or trial upgrades we give you end on the date we tell you, and then the account moves back to the Free plan.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Navtaps running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. It depends on outside providers, including Cloudflare and Supabase. We may change, add or remove features. Keep your own copies of any files you upload.
8. Privacy
- We collect your email address, your church's name and settings, your links and files, and a record of changes made in your account.
- When someone taps a tag, we record only which tap card was used and when. We don't collect names or contact details of the people who tap.
- Links are sent to Google's Web Risk service to check them for safety. Payments, once offered, are handled by our payment processor, and we don't store card numbers.
- We don't sell your information. We use it only to run Navtaps, keep it safe, and contact you about your account.
9. Ending service
You can stop using Navtaps anytime. To close your account and delete its data, email [SUPPORT EMAIL]. We may close an account that breaks these terms, or end the service for any reason with at least 30 days' notice. If we end the service without cause, we'll refund any time you've paid for but not used.
10. Legal terms
No warranty. NAVTAPS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.
Limit of liability. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES, LOST DONATIONS, LOST DATA OR LOST PROFITS, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $50.
Your responsibility. If someone makes a claim against us because of your content or your misuse of Navtaps, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from that claim.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. If we make an important change, we'll post it here and email account owners before it takes effect. Using Navtaps after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Hillsborough County, Florida.
The whole agreement. These terms are the full agreement between you and us about Navtaps. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
